My Services
I offer a range of occupational therapy services designed to help children build essential skills, to strengthen family connections, and to support educators and professionals. My goal is to foster confidence, resilience, and meaningful growth at home, at school, and in the community.
OT Treatment
-
I offer one-on-one or small group OT treatment sessions at home, at school, or online.
-
I support children in four key areas of development:
Self-Regulation — Building tools to understand emotions, manage impulses, and make positive choices using The Zones of Regulation curriculum and Social Thinking resources.
Fine Motor Skills — Strengthening hand and finger movements for tasks like writing, cutting, dressing, and self-care.
Gross Motor Skills — Developing core strength and coordination for confidence in play, sports, and daily activities.
Motor Planning — Helping kids learn to plan, organize, and carry out new tasks with ease, from classroom activities to playground games.
-
With individualized, client-centered, play-based strategies, OT treatment helps kids strengthen their daily living skills so they can thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
OT Consultation
-
I provide consultation sessions, either in person or virtually, that create space to talk through challenges, ask questions, and plan supportive next steps, together.
-
For Families
OT consultation sessions can occur in person or virtually and offer parents and caregivers the chance to share concerns, ask questions, and set goals. As your consultant, I work collaboratively with your child’s school and/or therapy teams, create programs for home, school, and the community, and set up ongoing check-ins to ensure progress is made and goals are achieved.
For ProfessionalsAs an OT consultant in the school setting, I assess students’ needs and work collaboratively with teachers to implement classroom accommodations and therapeutic recommendations. I also provide ongoing professional development to help teachers better understand their students and feel more confident in the classroom.
-
Families gain practical strategies and ongoing support, while schools and educators feel more confident meeting students’ needs and creating inclusive learning environments.
CPS Family Coaching
-
As a certified CPS provider, I work with families in person or virtually to get to the root of the problems that are causing concerning behaviors in kids and solve those problems collaboratively and proactively.
-
CPS (Collaborative & Proactive Solutions) is an evidence-based problem solving approach developed by world renowned psychologist Dr. Ross Greene.
-
Not only does the CPS model help families solve problems, it also teaches effective communication skills and builds empathy.
The CPS model gets to the root of problems and teaches families to solve them collaboratively. Over time, kids and parents build stronger relationships, improve communication, and create more harmony at home.
